January and December 2023; January and November 2024
Protocols are still in place as stated below (see June 2022)
June 2022
I continue to run HEPA filters and UV lights in all office spaces to maintain a clean environment in addition to regular sanitation of surfaces. I will wear a mask if requested, you are always welcome to wear one if it makes you more comfortable. I do strongly request that if you are not feeling well, you contact me prior to your appointment so we can reschedule. Massage is known to exacerbate symptoms of bacterial and viral infections.
January 2, 2022
I am fully vaccinated and boosted however, due to the surge in breakthrough cases I continue to wear a mask while in my office. It is your choice whether you wear one or not. I continue to run HEPA filters and UV lights in all office spaces in order to maintain a cleaner environment for all. Sanitation of surfaces continues as well.
June 20, 2020
Governor Baker has allowed the opening of Phase 2 Part 2 as of Monday June 22. I will be back in the office on Mondays and Thursdays. If you'd like an appointment, please reach out, however, right now I won't be taking new clients. I expect this to be an ever evolving situation so check back often. The new normal is "things change"
May 7, 2020
As things stand right now, I am hoping to be back in the office by May 18, 2020. I will be taking my direction from Gov. Baker and our North Reading Health Department.
I encourage you all to do everything you can to remain healthy and safe from this virus. My immediate and extended family is all healthy. Two members were tested with negative results. We are all isolating as best we can, sanitizing frequently touched surfaces often and masking when we must go out for groceries and other necessities. Long neglected home projects, cleaning and yard work are keeping us busy. Daily walks when it isn't too rainy and cold help with our mental state. Home cooking and meals taken together are a new normal. I'm enjoying the opportunity to connect with my family in these ways. My husband continues to work from home and my daughter is trying to finish her senior year of high school with remote learning and separated from her friends. Not an easy thing for a teenager to manage. They are so social. My heart breaks for them.
We can return to our normal scheduled life with a new realization of what is best for our physical, emotional, and psychological health. Take this opportunity to discover what you want that to be.
MARCH 22, 2020
This is a serious situation we find ourselves in.
I am showing no symptoms of COVID19, as of this writing. Neither is anyone in my immediate family. I am, however, exposed to a number of people a day and many of them travel. Some travel extensively.
I plan to continue to see clients in my office as long as possible. I will NOT be accepting any NEW clients at this time.
I will be trying harder to keep my appointments from overlapping. That way I can clean surfaces in between sessions and folks won't be in the office at the same time.
We all need to do our part to contain the outbreak. I want to help you feel your best but not at the expense of anyone's health and safety. If you have symptoms, have been exposed to anyone with symptoms or have traveled to an area where there is an outbreak, please self-quarantine.
I am leaving the decision to come in up to you. If you aren't comfortable with the potential risk, please stay home.
Thank you
